Shona Davison - a director of MDSG - and her husband Steve are now proud parents of two children :
in November son Dexter was joined by Tabitha. Shona was diagnosed with Myotonic Dystrophy when she was 28;
both children were born following pre-implatation genetic diagnosis ('PGD') and can enjoy the same chance of a
healthy life as most other children. Shona has been very open about the process, and appeared in a
BBC documentary "What if my baby is born like me?", as well as posting a blog about her experiences.
You can read an interview with her in the November 2011 issue of the Muscular Dystrophy Campaign's 'Target Research' magazine.
