Research
As part of our concern to improve the quality of life for those affected by Myotonic Dystrophy, we keep closely informed about all research in this field. We publish some research results on this website or in our Newsletter, and provide links to other websites and publications. Despite limited resources, we can sometimes help to ‘oil the wheels’ of research initiatives.
We also invite leading scientists and medical specialists to present papers at our Annual Conference, and our representatives attend other events (notably the biannual International Myotonic Dystrophy Consortium – “IDMC” ) to keep abreast of the latest developments.
